What We Collect

When you contact us, request an order, apply for a dealer account, sign up for the newsletter, or leave a review, we collect what you type into the form: typically your name, email address, phone number, business name, shipping address, and your message. That is the only personal information we ask for.

Payments

Card and bank payments are processed by Intuit QuickBooks Payments on Intuit's secure pages. Your card number never touches our servers and we never see or store it.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to answer your inquiry, fulfill and ship your order, send invoices and receipts, and, if you subscribed, send our newsletter. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Service Providers

We rely on a small set of providers to run the business: Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Google Analytics (anonymous site usage statistics via cookies), Brevo (sending our emails), Intuit QuickBooks (invoicing and payments), shipping carriers (delivering your order), and Meta, Google (YouTube), and TikTok (publishing our own social posts). Each receives only what it needs for its job.

Cookies

The site uses cookies for basic functionality and Google Analytics measurement. You can block cookies in your browser; the site keeps working.

Marketplaces

Purchases made on Whatnot or eBay are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies and checkout systems.

Social Media Publishing

Our staff publish our own posts to our Facebook Page, Instagram account, YouTube channel, and TikTok account through an internal tool that connects to each platform's official API, including YouTube API Services. The tool acts only on accounts we own. It does not collect information about the people who view, like, or comment on our posts, and nothing it receives is sold or shared.

The tool stores only the access tokens each platform issues to us and the posts we create. YouTube is a Google service, so Google's Privacy Policy also applies: google.com/policies/privacy. Anyone who authorized our tool can revoke its access at any time: for Google and YouTube on the Google security settings page, for Facebook and Instagram in Settings under Business Integrations, and for TikTok under Manage app permissions.

Deleting Your Data

To have us delete information we hold about you, including any data received from Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok, email louismartinknives@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" or call (631) 898-4249. We delete it within 7 days and confirm by email. Revoking our tool's access (see above) also removes its stored tokens within 7 days.
