Ordering a custom knife from Louis Martin takes six steps: inquire by phone or form, specify steel and handle, receive a quote, we hand-forge the blade at our own facility, it is finished and inspected in the USA, and it ships to your door. Most inquiries get a response within 24 hours.

We Confirm Availability & Pricing

We respond within 24 hours with pricing, lead time, and any questions. Custom wholesale orders get a detailed quote.

STEP 03

Blade Specification

For custom or wholesale orders, we finalize blade steel (Damascus 1080/15N20, D2, 440C, 1080HC), profile, bevel type, handle material, and finish.

STEP 04

Production at Our Dedicated Facility

Every knife is hand-forged to our specification at our own dedicated facility, then finished, inspected, and shipped from the USA. Not off a shelf. Not a resell.

STEP 05

Quality Inspection

Each shipment is inspected on arrival. Edge geometry, fit, finish, and hardness are checked against spec. Anything that doesn't meet standard doesn't ship.

STEP 06

Shipped from East Northport, NY

Orders ship from East Northport, NY via tracked carrier. You get tracking info as soon as your package leaves.
