Custom Knives in West Virginia — FAQ

What are West Virginia's knife carry rules?

West Virginia is broadly knife-friendly: 2016 reforms made every knife type legal to own, and adults 21 and over may carry concealed without a permit. Schools and courthouses remain restricted locations. This is general information, not legal advice.

Which knives do West Virginia customers buy most?

Appalachian hunting tradition drives orders for our hunting knives, skinning knives, and high-carbon fixed blades, with hand-forged Damascus Bowies the top collector pick in the state.

What knife laws apply in West Virginia?

West Virginia has relatively permissive knife laws. Open carry of most knives is permitted. Concealed carry of dirks, daggers, or knives over 3.5 inches is restricted without a concealed weapons license. Verify current law before carry.
